In July the price of electricity for ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih increased by 20% MoM, which negatively affected the product cost.
“The increase of electricity price will result in expenses growth. Electricity prices have grown not only for us, but also for many of our suppliers of services, raw materials and various products”, the company noted.
AMKR is sure that its suppliers will also increase the price of their goods and services, which will affect its prime cost.
Every months AMKR consumes 300-340 million kW-h of electricity depending on the manufacture volumes. (Ukrainian metal)
