According to the customs statistics, in January-June Russia exported $206.5 billion worth of products, down by 3.6% YoY.

The share of metal and wares was 9.5%, down from 10.4% last year.

The share of exports to far foreign countries totaled 8.9% (10.1%), and to the CIS countries – 13.3% (12.8%).

The cost of exports dropped by 12.4%, and volumes – by 9.8%.

In particular, the volumes of pig iron exports decreased by 20.3%, flat rolled iron and non-alloyed steel – by 16.5%, and semi-finished steel and non-alloyed products – by 7%.

At the same time the export volumes of aluminum grew by 21.6%, ferroalloys – by 5.9%, and copper and copper alloys – by 5.8%. (Ukrainian metal)
