Metals giant Norilsk Nickel plans to install Russia’s first, 2-billion ruble air conditioning on the Taimyrsky mine, the company said in a statement on August 8.
The launch is scheduled for July-September 2020. The total consumed electric power capacity is planned at 6 megawatts.
Similar systems are used in China and Poland. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
