Jensen Metal Ltd from the Liepaja Free Economic Zone has opened a new manufacture in the Karosta industrial park.
Investments almost reached EUR 10 million.
Of them 7.3 million were spent on construction and 2.5 million on machinery.
With the new plant operating the company will increase its capacity by 50%.
At the site with the size of 11.4 thousand square meters Jensen Metal Ltd will be producing ferrous metals wares.
The company is able to produce up to 130 thousand sections per week.
In the past 3 years the company has doubled the volume of ferrous metals processed, to 5700 tons per year. 98% of products are exported, mostly to Denmark, the Netherlands and Germany. (Ukrainian metal)
