In June Ukraine produced over 2.7 million tons of coal, which was 8% less than planned, the Coal Miners Union of Ukraine reported with a reference to the data provided by the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry.
“In June coal mining enterprises of Ukraine of all forms of ownership produced 2,743,300 tons of coal. The plan was fulfilled by 92%,” reads the report.
In particular, the mines subordinated to the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry produced 247,848 tons of coal, which made up 67% of the plan, or 124,352 tons less than the target plan. (Ukrinform/Ukrainian metal)
