In January-May Ukraine decreased ferrous metals exports via its seaports by 3.7% YoY, to 6.6 million tons.
According to the Ukrainian Administration of Sea Ports, pig iron exports dropped by 30.1%, to 934.7 thousand tons, rolled metal – by 1.8%, to 4 million tons, and scrap – by 24.9%, to 24 thousand tons.
At the same time, ore exports went up by 35.8%, to 9.5 million tons.
In particular, Odessa port processed 1.5 million tons of metal cargo, up by 0.3%, Nikolayev – 1.5 million tons, up by 28%, Mariupol – 1.5 million tons, down by 11.9%, Yuzhniy – 720.4 thousand tons, down by 19.1%, Chernomorsk – 721.3 thousand tons, up by 125%, Olvia – 300.6 thousand tons, down by 5.9%, Kherson – 404.6 thousand tons, up by 11.9%, and Izmail – 80.7 thousand tons, up by 24.5%.
