In January-May, Ukraine exported 1.047 million tons of pig iron valued at $343.097 million, down by 22.7% and by 24.8% YoY respectively.
According to the State Fiscal Service, the main customers were USA (58.95%), Italy (10.56%) and Turkey (8.69%).
In 5 months Ukraine imported 455 tons of pig iron valued at $293 thousand, down from 512 tons at $302 thousand in January-May 2018. The main suppliers were Russia (65.19%), Germany (30.03%) and Poland (4.78%). (Ukrainian metal)
