At the public hearings ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih has presented a report on the planned reconstruction of the wire mill No. 1 influence on the environment.
The project will see two loop layers and two wire-addition systems replaced by Danieli.
The capacity of the mill will not increase. In order to increase it, the company will later replace 10-reduction blocks with Simatic 7 controllers, which will help increase the loading of rolled metal from 85 to 120 meters per second.
