In January-April Ukraine exported 858.06 thousand tons of pig iron valued at $281.94 million, down by 16.2% and by 17.2% YoY respectively.
According to the State Fiscal Service, the main customers were USA (55.6%), Italy (12.88%) and Turkey (9.44%).
At the same time Ukraine imported 221 tons of pig iron valued at $356 thousand, as opposed to 414 tons at $256 thousand on January-April 2018.
The suppliers were Russia (67.87%), Germany (25.79%) and Poland (6.33%). (Ukrainian metal)
