Ukraine: consolidated losses of 10 state mines down in 2018

State coalmining enterprises and mines managed by the Ministry of energy and coal industry in 2018 received a consolidated loss of 2.69 billion UAH, down by 16.5% YoY.

In particular, Lvivugol, which mined 1.413 million tons of coal, received 457 million UAH of net loss, up 3.1-fold YoY, and 791.99 million UAH of net income, up by 53.7%.

Mirnogradugol with 553.9 thousand tons of coal received 348.05 1million UAH of losses, down 2.1-fold, and 587.081 million UAH of income, down by 2%.

Yuzhnodonbasskoye No. 1 produced 465.1 thousand tons of coal and received 5.488 million UAH of losses, down 30.7-fold, and 607.777 million UAH of income, up 1.7-fold.

Selidovugol mined 396 thousand tons of coal and received 464.2 million UAH of net losses, up by 17.1%, and 642.31 million UAH of income, down by 38.5%.

Lisichanskugol extracted 290 thousand tons of coal and received 714.63 million UAH of losses, down by 11.2%, and 326.399 million UAH of income, up 1.6-fold.

Mine named after Surgay yielded 264 thousand tons of coal and received 1.975 million UAH of losses, down 15.4-fold, and 458.427 million UAH of income, up by 29.2%.

Toretskugol, mining 251.2 thousand tons of coal, received 291.716 million UAH of looses, up by 5.9%, and 411.943 million UAH of income, up by 18.5%.

Pervomayskugol extracted 202.3 thousand tons and received 302.187 million UAH of losses, down by 42.4%, and 362.603 million UAH of income, up by 46.9%.

Nadezhda Mine yielded 159.9 thousand tons of coal and received 7.483 million UAH of losses (from 0.588 million UAH of profit) and 287.845 million UAH of income, down by 4.4%.

Volynugol mined 98.8 thousand tons of coal and received 97.745 million UAH of net loss, down by 33.2%, and 167.81 million UAH of income, up by 38.4%. (Ukrainian metal)
