Chelyabinsk Iron and Steel Works has won a tender to supply rails for the Moscow Subway.
The works will produce 23.5 thousand tons of rails to be used for the reconstruction of the existing railways and for the construction of new.
The first delivery is scheduled for May.
ChMK produces 100-meter long rails.
Since 2014 it has manufactured some 1 million tons of rails. (Ukrainian metal)
