In January-February Ukraine exported 3.3 million tons of ore via seaports, up by 44.8% YoY.
Ferrous metals exports dropped by 3.8%, to 2.7 million tons.
The Yuzhniy port exported the most ore – 2.8 million tons, up by 63.8%.
Lately iron ore exports via seaports have been decreasing – in three years they fell by 37%, from 28.9 million tons to 18.2 million tons.
At the same time ferrous metals exports were more stable. In 2018 pig iron exports even increased by 7%, to 15 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
