ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih intends to construct a tube-type furnace in the benzene department of the by-product recovery shop.
“When the new furnace is constructed and put into operation, the old one in use since 1983 will be decommissioned. For that a part of the coke gas pipeline will be disassembled, and some pumps replaced”, the company said.
With the new tube-type furnace in operation, pollution will decrease by 6.57 tons per year, and greenhouse gas emission – by 400 tons. (Ukrainian metal)
