In February ArcelorMittal Temirtau plans to complete the investment project to commission a ladle furnace No. 3 in its converter shop.
The machine will join two other ladle furnaces already operating in the oxygen-converter shop.
The capacity of the new machine is at least 24 smeltings per day, or 2.2 million tons of steel per year.
The project was begun in 2017. (Ukrainian metal)
