In 2018 Ukrainian by-product coke plants increased metallurgical coke (6% moisture) manufacture by 4.1% YoY, to 10.826 million tons.
In December 2018 the output totaled 924 thousand tons of coke, up from 917 thousand tons in November 2018.
In January this year the output decreased somewhat due to the drop in orders. But all the plants are fully provided with coking coals.
In 2019 coke manufacture might grow by 5% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
