The government of Uzbekistan has approved the main parameters of the Uzbekkhimmash investment project feasibility study to modernize its casting manufacture with the construction of a new shop.

According to the Cabinet of Ministers, the modernization should be ready by December.

The cost of the project is $23.77 million, with investments into new machinery amounting to $12.76 million.

The company intends to use its own funds of $3.77 million, as well as a loan of $20 million from Uzpromstroybank.

The annual capacity of the shop after modernization will be 4 thousand tons of castings, with 0.5 thousand tons to be exported. (Ukrainian metal)
