Interpipe is preparing to start mass deliveries of railroad tyres to the CIS countries.
For the past several years the main sales market was Ukraine. In particular, the main buyer was Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways).
In 2017 Interpripe supplied over 2700 tons of tyres to the Ukrainian market, and in January-September – some 2300 tons.
But low orders do not allow active work of the manufacturing line.
“Unfortunately, the tyre line is idle most of the time. For instance, this year it has been in use 2 times only. We are looking for ways to increase the capacity and reach stable operation”, the company railroad products division director Alexander Garkavy said. (Ukrainian metal)
