In January-September Izhstal exported 42 thousand tons of metal, up by 81% YoY.
In particular, exports to CIS countries grew by 22%, to 22 thousand tons, and to far foreign countries – almost 4-fold, to 20 thousand tons.
The company exports bars and sized rolled metal, as well as sections of carbon, alloyed, stainless and speed steel grades.
The deliveries are usually carried out by Mechel Service Global.
Belarus, being one of the priority markets for Izhstal, accounts for 30% of the exports. In 9 months the country imported 13.5 thousand tons of metal, up by 40% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
