Russia’s Voronezh-based “Rudgormash” company will have supplied gold mining equipment worth 1 billion rubles ($ 15.1 million) to Uzbekistan by the end of this year.
“This year we are fulfilling a fairly large order for the supplies to the gold mining industry of Uzbekistan, in price terms this order costs more than 1 billion rubles. Under this contract, we have supplied drilling rigs and spare parts for them. But that’s not all,” President of the Russian company Anatoly Chekmenev declared.
“As it turned out, the new gold deposits are being developed there where the equipment will be needed. I hope that our partnership will continue, because they like the Rudgormash equipment. According to preliminary estimates, next year we will cooperate with them in about the same volumes,” said Chekmenev.
Rudgormash is a group of specialized enterprises for the development, production and sale of mining equipment. The company was founded in 1939, and over the past 20 years it has supplied over 4,500 units of various types of equipment to the CIS countries. (Trend/Ukrainian metal)
