In January-September Ukraine increased copper and copper wares imports by 12.1% YoY, to $69.79 million.

According to the customs statistics, copper exports also grew – by 26.3%, to $117.114 million.

In September copper imports totaled $9.225 million, and exports – $5.889 million.

Nickel imports in 9 months grew by 32.5%, to $73.826 million ($7.431 million in September), aluminum – by 2.9%, to $284.23 million ($36.691 million), lead – by 49.4%, to $10.538 million ($1.764 million), and zinc – by 20.6%, to $64.333 million ($4.489 million). Tin imports totaled $3.511 million ($255 thousand).

Aluminum exports in 9 months grew by 11.6%, to $105.312 million ($10.949 million), nickel – by 50.1%, to $6.314 million ($0.497 million). Lead export dropped by 20.7%, to $26.757 million ($1.747 million), that of zinc reached $216 thousand ($36 million) as opposed to $60 thousand last year.

Tin exports totaled $288 thousand (not exported in September) as opposed to $171 thousand last year. (Ukrainian metal)
