Russian Copper Company has become the owner of the project to develop a major gold-copper-porphyry deposits Malmyzhskoye in Khabarovsk region having purchased the license from IG Copper and Freeport McMoRan Exploration for $200 million.

In particular, RCC has bought the operator of the deposits – Amur Minerals, created as a joint venture by IG Copper (51%) and Freeport (49%).

The four sites of the deposits are estimated to hold 5.6 million tons of copper and 298 tons of gold. (Ukrainian metal)
