The system of electronic trade OpenMarket has listed one of the oldest mines of the Central Donbass.
The Yuzhnaya mine is a part of the state enterprise Toretskugol. It was founded in 1877.
The mine is situated in the village of Yuzhnoye near the borders of the Toretsk city in Donetsk region.
In 2014 because of the military activities in the vicinity the mine was shut down.
The price of the mine complex is 16 million UAH. Because of the temporarily occupation the mine is half ruined and is hardly suitable for operation in the nearest future.
The premises bear signs of military activities – bullet and shell traces on the walls, as well as signs of fire.
Toretsk was liberated by Ukrainian forces on July 21, 2014, while the Yuzhnoye village on May 17, 2018. (Ukrainian metal)
