PJSC ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih has purchased a new passenger bus MAZ-107485 for transportations of the plant’s employees along the city to the distantly located shops.
Since September 1, the new bus started to shuttle in Kriviy Rih en route “Swimming Pool” – “Blast furnace shop No. 2”. The cost of the new passenger bus is 4.7 million UAH.
The main features of the new bus are its increased length (14.5 meters) and passenger capacity (130 people). This allows carrying passengers by one bus instead of two, as before. The new MAZ corresponds to modern technical demands and also to demands of safety and ergonomics, it is equipped by the systems of conditioning and winter heating.
The total passenger automobile transport’s fleet of PJSC ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih consists of 69 machines of various seating capacity. Year-round the company’s buses are shuttling along the city and inside the plant, carrying the employees to the distantly located structural subdivisions and shops: to the mining department, blast furnace shop No. 2, rolling mill No. 3, oxygen production, etc. (AMKR/Ukrainian metal)
