On August 31 Belarus Iron and Steel Works exceeded a milestone in sales – $1 billion.
This year the milestone has been reached 2 months earlier than in 2017.
The symbolic billionth dollar was earned by a batch of bars shipped to Zerbst GmbH (Germany).
In January-August BMZ sold 1.5 million tons of metal, with 85% exported. (Ukrainian metal)
