In April-June Korshunovsky Mining and Processing Works increased iron ore output by 30% QoQ, to 1.6 million tons.
Sales grew by 41%, to 495 thousand tons.
The growth is due to the increase of the mining fleet.
“Since the start of the year we have commissioned 10 large dump trucks, a grader and a heavy bulldozer at the Rudnogorsky quarry. Soon the Korshunovsky quarry will receive 2 new large dump trucks, while the Rudnogorsky quarry will get a drilling rig. We also repair our 13-ton BelAZ trucks”, the company managing director Mikhail Mazhukin said. (Ukrainian metal)
