The Uralelectromed subsidiary has put into operation after a scheduled repair an Engitec Technologies short-drum furnace.

The inner insulation layer of the furnace has been replaced.

The work cost some 2.5 million rubles.

Refractory bricks of two types were used to assemble new lining.

The short-drum furnaces are heated to 1200 degrees C to produce 90% lead.

Uralelectromed has been producing lead since 2015.

The company subsidiary capacity is up to 20 thousand tons of lead per year. (Ukrainian metal)
