In January-June Metinvest increased steel output by 4% YoY, to 3.79 million tons.
In particular, Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works increased output by 8%, to 1.613 million tons and Azovstal – by 1%, to 2.181 million tons.
Pig iron manufacture grew by 14%, to 4.292 million tons, with Mariupol Ilyich output up by 23%, to 2.292 million tons, and Azovstal – by 5%, to 2 million tons.
Semi-finished products output in 6 months increased by 43%, to 1.644 million tons.
Finished products manufacture totaled 2.949 million tons, up by 6% YoY, including flat rolled metal – 2.431 thousand tons, up by 57 thousand tons.
Long rolled products output grew by 109 thousand tons, to 427 thousand tons.
At the same time rail manufacture increased by 6 thousand tons, to 29 thousand tons, but pipes dropped by 10 thousand tons, to 62 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
