ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih has signed a contract for the delivery of Siemens STC-GV (160-3) blower for its largest blast furnace No. 9.
The total cost of the contract is $13 million.
The commissioning of the blower will increase pig iron output and decrease CO2 emissions by 30.5 thousand tons per year.
The project presupposes the cooperation with German and Ukrainian divisions of Siemens.
The machinery is scheduled to be delivered in April 2019. (Ukrainian metal)
