The Siberian department of the Federal service on ecological, technological and nuclear control (Rostechnadzor) has carried out a scheduled check of the industrial safety at 13 dangerous sites of Evraz ZSMK.
During the inspection 305 violations of the industrial safety norms have been found.
In particular, repairs of the main construction structures were not carried on time, extraction systems were in unsatisfactory condition and not all the employees performing gas dangerous works had personal gas detectors.
As the result of the inspection Evraz ZSMK has been fined for 1.082 million rubles. (Ukrainian metal)
