In January-May the Republic of Buryatia mined 2.731 million tons of coal, up almost 2-fold YoY.
Tugnuysky Pit provided 1.434 million tons of coal, while three companies – East-Siberian Mining Company, Coal Pit and Buryatia Mining and Ore Company – mined 1.298 million tons.
Most of the coal mined is exported to the Asian-Pacific region countries. (Ukrainian metal)
