Specialists of Beloretsk Iron and Steel Works have presented their newest import-substituting products to mining companies of Kemerovo, Krasnoyarsk, Zabaikalye and Khabarovsk regions, as well as Republics of Khakassia and Buryatia, and Uzbekistan.
Trial batches of steel ropes with polymer coating will be supplied to customers, while the full-scale manufacture will start in early 2019.
The company has been carrying out the project to produce import-substituting multi-strand ropes for industrial machines since 2015.
“Miners were interested in the new product, especially those from Uzbekistan. They have seen such ropes for the first time”, the company CEO Victor Kamelin said. (Ukrainian metal)
