A fire at the Yerunakovskaya-8 mine of coal producer Raspadskaya in Kemerovo region has been liquidated, there have been no injuries, a source in the region’s emergency services reported on June 18.
The source said earlier that all 114 miners were evacuated.
Under preliminary data, the fire was caused by a short circuit in the cable.
Coal production at the mine has been suspended, a spokesperson for the regional coal industry department reported. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
