The rolling shop No. 1 of the Zlatoust Electrometallurgical Works has mastered the manufacture of stainless chrome-nickel alloy EI-878 slabs.
The slabs with the size of 150×500 mm were produced at the 1150-mill of the ingot with the diameter of 630 mm.
Previously the works manufactured only forgings of this alloy.
The metal has successfully passed all the tests and its quality has been confirmed to correspond to GOST and TU. (Ukrainian metal)
