In January-March Kamchatka obtained 1.73 thousand tons of nickel, down by 15% YoY.
The only enterprise to mine for nickel in the region was the research company “Geotechologia”. It is developing the Shanuch copper-nickel deposits.
This year it intends to mine some 9.5 thousand tons of nickel, up by 36% YoY.
Last year the output totaled 7 thousand tons of nickel. (Ukrainian metal)
