The metal shop of Proizvodstvo polymetallov, a subsidiary of Uralelectromed, has started assembling a new converter.
The machine will replace the outdated one.
The old machine has already been disassembled. On its place a concrete foundation with the volume of 160 cubic meters has been laid.
The replacement is scheduled to end in May.
The cost of the project is 40 million rubles.
Out of 4 converters 3 were replaced in 2001, 2008 and 2012. (Ukrainian metal)
