Zhezkazgan Copper Smelting Works will be operating at full capacity, according to Kazakhmys Smelting.
The plant will operate 2 ore-smelting furnaces and a sulfur acid shop.
In 2009 due to the decrease of available raw materials the works switched to the operation of only 1 smelting furnace.
But as the copper-containing raw materials volumes will increase because of two processing factories commission, it was decided to resurrect the second furnace. (Ukrainian metal)
