PJSC ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih, the largest mining and metallurgical company of Ukraine, will increase salaries of its employees from 5% to 20% from May 1. A new remuneration system, which was developed at the company, allows to review the employees’ salaries on a case-by-case basis – depending on the category of the personnel.

The main production personnel will get the most benefit from the salary increase. The workers’ salaries will be increased by 20%. The administration personnel will get the smallest percentage of salary increase (5%).

At the beginning of the year (as of January), the average monthly salary of the plant’s employees was 12121 UAH. The average salary in Ukraine for the same period was 7711 UAH.

Now PJSC ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih pays salary steadily and without delays to more than 33 thousand people – own personnel, employees of subsidiaries and contractors. There are no back payments on salaries. (AMKR/Ukrainian metal)
