In 2017 Korshunovsky Mining and Processing Works sold 2.5 million tons of iron ore concentrate, down by 9% YoY.

According to the company statement, a number of factors affected sales last year.

In particular, the company started operating under complex mining and geological conditions, which prevented increasing output. Moreover, the ore obtained did not meet quality standards because of low iron content and high moisture.

Almost all the concentrate is supplied to Chelyabinsk Iron and Steel Works. (Ukrainian metal)
