The bar shop of MMK has produced the 20-millionth ton of bars.
In 2005-2006 three Danieli mills with the combined capacity of over 2 million tons of bars per year were put into operation.
The 450-mill with the capacity of 790 thousand tons per year produces angles, channel, rods and strips.
The 370-mill with the capacity of 585 thousand tons per year produces rebar rods and 50 mm rounds, squares and hexagons.
The 170-mill with the capacity of 765 thousand tons produces wire rod and rebars of small sizes.
In autumn 2008 the company exceeded the 5-millionth ton milestone, in 2012 – 10-millionth ton and in July 2015 – the 15-millionth ton.
Last year the bar shop produced over 1.8 million tons of rolled metal. (Ukrainian metal)
