In January-March Ukraine increased coal imports by 57.6% YoY, to 5.745 million tons valued at $760.468 million, up by 33.5%.
According to the State Fiscal Service, Russia supplied $472.397 million worth of coal (62.12%), USA – $219.929 million (28.92%), Canada – $48.365 million (6.36%) and other countries – $19.777 million (2.6%).
In 3 months Ukraine exported 43.338 thousand tons of coal valued at $7.8 million, including $4.597 million to Russia, $3.201 million to Slovakia and $0.002 million to Hungary.
This year Ukraine intends to increase coal imports by 11.3% YoY, to 5.668 million tons, including 4.881 million tons from Russia (up by 29.6%), 664 thousand tons from USA (+47.7%) and 123 thousand tons from the South African Republic (-83.8%). (Ukrainian metal)
