The minister of energy and coal industry Igor Nasalik says the Ministry of Finances has promised to provide 1 billion UAH by April to develop coal industry.
“For a month and a half we have been attending meetings chaired by the Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman. And we have found an algorithm: by the end of March the Ministry of Finances will have provided 1 billion UAH for the coal industry; the industry will spend at least 70% of its revenue to pay salary; and if this billion is used efficiently, the state will find money to modernize other mines”, Nasalik said.
