In January-February Chukotka Autonomous District mined 135.7 thousand tons of coal, up by 10% YoY.
The increase in output has to do with the growth of coalmining at Beringpromugol LLC.
In 2 months the company shipped 95.3 thousand tons of coal, up 1.5-fold YoY.
Shakhta Ugolnaya also mines for coal in the region. Its output totaled 40.3 thousand tons, down 1.5-fold YoY.
In January Chukotka yielded 83 thousand tons of coal. (Ukrainian metal)
