The Komsomolskaya mine of Vorkutaugol has started mining at the second south block.
The first long face has 404 thousand tons of coal. Up to 45 thousand tons will be produced there in a month.
The company started preparing for the operation at the new long face in advance. Last year, 70 out of 170 sections of mechanized anchoring were brought above ground. A new heading machine was also purchased.
