There are no radioactive elements or heavy metals in the industrial wastes of the factory in Ak-Tyuz village, the concentrating factory Geo Reserve CJSC reported.

“There are no uranium-containing or other radioactive elements, nor heavy metals in the industrial waste of the plant. The hole in the pipe is the service hatch of the pulp feed-line,” the company said.
Local residents reported that on February 25 there was a break in a pipe, running along the road from the gold extraction plant to the dam of the tailing dump.
