Azovstal Iron and Steel Works was the largest VAT recipient in January among metal and mining companies – UAH 768.9 million refunded (UAH 381.5 million in December 2017).
According to the State Treasury Service, it was followed by ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih with UAH 584 (UAH 659.4 million) and Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works with UAH 565.4 million (UAH 656.42 million).
Zaporizhstal was refunded UAH 498.7 million (UAH 407 million), Dneprovsky By-Product Coke Plant – UAH 405.7 million (no refunds in December 2017), and Poltava Mining and Processing Works – UAH 215.2 million (UAH 138.8 million). (Interfax-Ukraine/Ukrainian metal)
