In 2017 Uralcable processed 6.8 thousand tons of copper, up by 15% YoY.
Aluminum processing increased by 30%, to 1.4 thousand tons.
Uralelectromed is the main supplier of copper wire rod to Uralcable.
“The use of high quality raw materials is our main advantage, and our customers know that. We alone in Russia can control the full cycle of cable manufacture: from ore mining, to its processing, to copper cathode, copper wire rod and then cable production”, the company deputy sales director Vitaly Kabakov said.
