ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih has put in operation a new iron ore transporting complex.

This year the company intends to increase iron ore output at the mine named after Artem from 757.6 thousand tons in 2017 to 1.013 million tons. This will make the company cover all its needs in sinter ore.

For this a new belt conveyer with the length of 380 meters and the angle of 16 degrees has been assembled at the site. Its maximum capacity is 400 tons per hour.

A separate electric power plant was specifically built underground to power the conveyer.

Investments in the construction of the new 1135-meter horizon and the transportation complex totaled $43.8 million. (Ukrainian metal)
