In January-November 2017 the share of Russian exports of metal and wares to far foreign countries reached 10.1%, up from 9.9% in 2016.

The monetary volume of exports grew by 28%, while physical volume dropped by 3.2%.

Pig iron exports decreased by 13.1%, aluminum – by 6%, ferroalloys – by 5.8%, and semi-finished products of iron and non-alloyed steel by 5.6%.

At the same time copper and copper alloys exports grew by 13.6%.

The monetary volume of exports to CIS increased by 31.1% YoY, physical volume – by 12.1%.

In particular, ferroalloys exports grew by 61.2%, flat rolled iron and non-alloyed steel – by 19.8% and semi-finished products – by 18.8%. (Ukrainian metal)
