In January-November Chukotka Autonomous District mined 406 thousand tons of coal, up 1.8-fold YoY.
Only two companies mine for coal in the region.
The Shakhta Ugolnaya company, developing the Anadyr deposits, mined 183 thousand tons of coal, down by 19% YoY.
At the same time Beringpromugol LLC, developing the Fandyushkinskoye field deposits since December 2016, mined 222 thousand tons in January-October, as no mining was done in November. (Ukrainian metal)
