The ChTPZ Group has started producing a new type of long pipes of stainless chromium-nickel steel with the diameter of 20 mm, wall thickness of 2 mm and the length of 18-20.3 meters.
The manufacturing process is organized at Pervouralsky Pipe Works. The first batch of pipes with the combined length of 24 thousand meters has been delivered to the customer.
The company was able to start producing the new type of pipes thanks to modernization in 2016, within which a new 10-45 cold-rolling mill and the pipe line were put in operation. Investments totaled 200 million rubles.
In January-September the ChTPZ share in the sales of stainless cold-deformed pipes on the Russian market was 40%. (Ukrainian metal)
